Serenity Boutique Hotel is ideally located, enabling you to enjoy everything the region has to offer.
Below you will find details of the towns surrounding Quepos which you may wish to visit whilst at the hotel.
Quepos:
Located just 7km from the entrance to Manuel Antonio National park, the small, busy town of Quepos serves as the gateway to the national park, as well as a convenient port of call for travelers in need of goods and services. Although the Manuel Antonio area was rapidly and irreversibly transformed following the ecotourism boom, Quepos has largely retained an authentic Tico feel.
The burgeoning restaurant scene belies the town's small size. Also Quepos is gridded with easy-to-walk streets, a world class marina and a great seawalk to watch the sunset from, which provide opportunities to interact with the friendly locals.

Other nearby areas to explore from Quepos:

Dominical:
Dominical is a small and friendly town located amid the lush and still-largely untouched region of the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
The majority of its visitors come to surf as Dominical is known for its consistent and advanced waves. There are plenty of activities for those who do not want to spend all of their time surfing, or learning to surf. In the immediate area, one can explore the dense, jungle-covered mountains, hills, and valleys and potentially witness the exotic wildlife, including whales and turtles, in their natural habitat.
Uvita:
The quaint town of Uvita Costa Rica, located on the southern Pacific coast near the Osa Peninsula is famous for its local village atmosphere, stunning beaches and migration of humpback whales to the warm and calm waters of the Marino Ballena National Park.
Each year Uvita and the Marino Ballena National Park are blessed with the visits of the humpback whales from December to March and again from late July to early November. The area is also home to resident bottle-nose, spinner and spotted dolphins, hawksbill and olive ridley turtles and a variety of fish, birds, monkeys, insects, plant and tree life.
If you are lucky enough to be staying at Serenity during whale season we can arrange for a day tour to see the leviathans.
